Tapering down

Screwed up eating gained 10 lbs and tapering down.  got two extra pills and don't know where I missed them.  Really puffy this time.  Think gi and ut are liver problems getting worse from liver forum and not ai.  I can think some though.  Even played scrabble. scared some and sad a little   

Thanks redrose, hope your holiday was "relatively uneventful" if you know what I mean. My bf's stepdad and 16 yo son (bf half bro) got in fight and drunk mom watched. Stepdad carted off to jail, sure bf's mom will bail out immediately. I feel sorry for the kid but can't take that on. It'd be like inviting them all to my house. Was glad stayed away from that.

Not sure what to say about lasix except that it's effectiveness wears off unless higher and higher doses are used. It used to be the lowest dose would cause me to lose 20-30lbs the first week and 10-20lbs the next week then 5-10lbs the week after that. Then I would stop lossing and level off. A few weeks later all the weight would come back. But my blood pressure would be normal again. Last time it took 4xs the original dose I took to get 15lbs off and get my blood pressure down. I lost the 15lbs in 5 days but it came back 2 weeks later. For some reason getting the water off for a short time makes my blood pressure normal again for months at a time. I have no clue how it will work for you but have been told by several doctors that long term it is not a good choice that there are others that work better long term and that don't require jumps in dosage quite as fast or as often. Lasix is very effective though when it works for you.
