Good day everyone,

Just needed to post for a bit of a pity party for myself. I left work today and went to get my hair done after that picked up some diner and was on my way home to settle in and watch Grey's Anatomy. WHEN I was hit by a 20 year old girl who turned left at a set of lights right into me as I was going straight. She has no liscense and was driving on expired learners permit. If that isn't bad enough that my car is in bits in the road I went to unlock my door and the key broke off in the door.  It's -32 here with the wind and I had to stand outside and wait for the police. She hit me so hard she turned my car sideways. I have the worst headache from hitting my head and stress and my tailbone is killing me. I just know I am going to flare now and not be able to move tomorrow... I took an extra some tylenol and hope sleeping on the heating pad will help.

It sounds like you deserve to have a good pity party! A miserably cold and distressing evening for sure. I hope Canadian car insurance works so that your car will be replaced quickly. Make sure to follow up if that tailbone and headache don't feel better shortly. Hang in there,

Hi Angela.  Wow, what a rough accident!  I don't see how you'll recover from this without a flare.  It's such stress on your body, not to mention all the mental stress.  I bet you're sore today.  Try to take it easy.  (((Hugs)))  Love, Butterflake

Oh no, Angela, that was the last thing you needed. I hope you aren't too terribly sore this morning, but I am guessing that you are. Sadly, the physical and emotional stress might cause a flare, so please just stay in bed if you need to for a few days. You are in my thoughts.

((( Angela ))). I am SO sorry for what you've just went through. I am the "poster child" for bad car wrecks, so I can really feel where you're at right now. I had a bad one in '94 that put me in a coma for a month and left me disabled; then in '03 my BF and I were ran off the road by a transfer truck at 70 mph. I am very lucky to be alive. It sounds like you are too. People can be SO careless in their cars. They have no idea how one wrong move, one split second can change their lives...forever! Definitely try to rest if at all possible, but I'd say it will take a while to get over the physical stress of this. I just hope you are able to get thing's worked out with your insurance so the emotional stress from this doesn't drag on. Good luck. You'll be in my thoughts.

Goodness.... I am glad you are at least sorta ok... I bet you do have a flare... and I hope your insurance covers everything...Did you go to the Dr..?
