FOR THOSE WHO ARE TAKING ORAL FLAGYL, DOES YOUR DOCTOR HAVE YOU TAKE IT 7 DAYS WEEK OR PULSE IT?

I am just curious what different LLMD's rx with Oral Flagyl weather you take it a full 7 days a week or like for 4 or 5 days and 2 or 3 off.
How long where you on it?

I was recently treating the cyst form with Diflucan and Amoxy for the intracellular form, I have't had pain for about a year and all of the sudden started having severe muscle pain again in hips, shoulders upper back. We are now going after cyst form with Flagyl, I am having a lot more pain, as a result I am sure of die-off. I thought I was almost done with treatment (14months) I was feeling great with a CD-57 of
254 (LabcorP) and almost ready to come off and then BAM!!! I guess I am glad it happened now and not a year from now, but I am back on pain meds until the die-off lessens and I start feeling better. Just another bump in the road I guess.

Thanks for your response, I am wondering if you do pulse it does it mean you have to stay on it longer??? From what I have read and I want your opionions out there. Do you feel Flagyl is the most effective cyst busting abx?

I did not post this in the first one doc thinks also that this could be Yeast mimicing Lyme symptoms. I was on diflucan for 4 months. He believes I became possibly resistant to it. So she changed me to another antifungal in the same family. So I am hoping with treating the yeast and cyst form more aggresively I will start feeling as good as I was.
