Hello All! I havent been to the boards in a few weeks..been pretty busy.. and unfortunately i think it took the toll on me.. I had a wicked migraine saturday (up until then i had been doing really good).. and after the migraine went away, i was left with a woozy foggy headache type feeling. the back of my head feels full of pressure, my eyes feel weird, my neck is so stiff...my joints and muscles ache, and no matter how much sleep i get i feel like i could use another 8 hours of sleep! I'm sure some of you out there have experienced this... but would love some input.. the other thing ive had is this weird rash on my legs/arms and back of my neck.. i thought they were just pimples that i picked at too much, and then didnt heal because of my immune system...but i went to my holistic dr the other day and she got back to me saying they looked like a strep/staph infection!!! anyone have any input???.... i dont have health insurance, and im new to fl so i dont have a actual dr down here.. but i do have an appointment at my college health center, at least for the rash..and i plan to mention my headache/stiff neck if it is still bugging me...

i just re read this, and its kinda a bunch of garble thrown on the page. i cant focus, and im sure you guys reading this will understand why... so if you can make any sense out of it, and give me any thoughts, thank you so much!

i have a sore and stiff neck that snaps and pops when it's turned. And I have that woozy feeling a lot. VERY forgetful.

Do you have Lyme?

I have chronic staph infections on my skin, mine is the result immune deficiency. You mentioned your immune system, do you have immune deficiency? If so, skin infections are very common, just your body not being able to keep things in check. In my case all a result of having chronic Lyme.  Good luck-

I do have lyme, i was diagnosed in 2005, and did a long treatment of antibiotics. Most of the time do fairly well, but have had several flare ups.. most recently in September I had a pretty bad one... and now i believe i am headed for another bad flare...

dowa.. i know my immune system is lowered due to lyme, and all the abx i have been on in the past... what do you do for your chronic staph infections, anything?

I take Azithromycin, it was the only thing that would clear it up. I am right now seeing an immunologist to "prove" immune deficiency to my insurance co and I will start IV-IG. Are you gamma globulin deficient also? Chronic staph infections are common with IgG deficiency.  D

So i just got back from my appointment for the rash/infection on my legs.. and im just going to vent..cause it was rather frustrating.. im here in florida, which from what i gather (i apologize if im wrong) there arnt as many cases of lyme as there are in new england (just moved from vermont)... the person i saw, was more excited to hear that i had lyme, and gave me a lecture about chronic lyme, and how i really needed to get insurance cause it was costly and painful and troublesome, i mean seriously, i know all of this!!!! anyway, so she without looking, writes me a script for an antibiotic for my infection on my leg.. and then.. she wants to do some bloodwork and such.. which is all fine and dandy, but.. i guess im not sure why im venting.. that she acted like she had just diagnosed me and i knew nothing about the disease?

oh, and to boot, the nurse couldnt find my vein/had a hard time drawing blood...so she then decided to tell me that if i lost some weight itd be easier for her to find the vein...for one, she was twice my size...and two, im realy not that fat, ive got a lot of muscle, and some extra, taht is impossible to lose right now... arghhhh....

good news is, i found out i have a fever.. and i figured out that the "headache" ive had since saturda has actually been this fever, or ive had a fever and a headache since then.. makes sense i just never took my temperature!

I have all the crapoola that you mentioned. I was told to quit drinking green tea (which is the only good thing I thought I was doing for myself - haha) to stop my arms from breaking out. I have learned not to pick at the rashes. The one on my left arm is 99% healed.... right arm, not too much. I also have this rash/pimple (but it's NOT a pimple) on my right butt cheek.... but I digress, as usual.

so i just got the results of my CBC test.. which the doc was sure something would come back because of my symptoms.. but it came back 100% awesome.. all the more reasons that says my ailments are in my head, eh?
