Does anyone here use a Rife machine for Lyme?  My LLMD says I'm not a candidate for antibiotics (complicated story...) and suggested I ask about Rife machines.  Also, does anyone know if Rife machines generate negative ions or ozone?  I'm highly sensitive to both ionizers and ozone generators.

I'm very curious on this topic as well. I plan to ask my LLMD about it this week when I see him. I lost the link, but I found a person's personal lyme website where he described his experience with Lyme and said that IV Rocephin and the Rife machine were the two most potent things that helped him recover.

Hi Razzle - Yes I use a rife machine called a PERL. I think it helps. Many people in my LD support group use rife technology also.

Please explain what your results have been with rife machines. How do you know they are working? Do you have a herx and then actually feel better? Can you forgo abx and use only the rife machine? If the machine is effective, why do you also use abx? So far alternative treatments have failed for me and this is a very costly way to go. One treatment with the local homeopathic doctor is hundreds of dollars and buy your own machine is thousands (when you are capable of putting it together yourself!)

What programs do you run on your PERL? I also have one. Do you have additional programs other than the 25 that the machine comes with? How often do you use it? Also, do you skip around in the programs you run or do you tend to stick with main ones?

I run Lyme, EBV, general health. I'm going to run parasites too. I've added bart and plan on adding more when I feel up to it. I use mine everyday. I know they say to take a day off, but I usually don't. Do you think it is working for you?

I run the ones as you but how often do you run each one. Do you do them all every day or do you rotate them. If you rotate them, how often? How did you get the bart protocol? Did they send you the frequencies and you programmed them yourself or did they do it for you. I had them program it for me for bart. I can't say for sure if it is helping or not. You see, I bought the machine in 2007 when I decided that I did not want to do any more antibiotics. I started using it but then I felt so good that I didn't use it as much at all. In the meantime, I had many complications and was sort of "scared" into going back on antibiotics. Now that I am permanently DONE with abx - I have not given it much of a chance yet to say if it is beneficial or not. I am currently doing many other holistic things but I do plan on incorporating it back in soon. I wish I could be more concrete with you. How long have you been using it? Is is helping you? if so, how? Because, weren't you also considering going to see Dr. Jernigan? What type of symptoms do you have?

The PERL comes out of Canada by a company called Resonant Light (resonantlight.com) It was pretty $$$$$ - with shipping and everything it was between 6,000 - 7,000. But...this price also included and extra bulb and an extra Pro-Gen to cut the running times in half.

Hi Jennifer - Yes I was going to see Dr. Jernigan. Then decided to give something else a try. I was glad I emailed you and we conversed. I don't want to keep "wasting" money on different protocols. As for the Perl, I'll try to answer best I can. I haven't been as good about running the programs lately. I usually keep it where I can see it but since Christmas decorating I put it in a different room and forget to use it sometimes. Anyways, I usually run Lyme and EBV at the same time. Then I may switch to general health on a different day. I really don't have a set schedule. I just run the program that seems to fit that day. I'm not sure if it's helping, but the technology makes sense to me and I think if it is used enough it can help. When I first started using it I had a reaction that made me itch. My son who is 8 (I've had LD for 16 yrs - I was pregnant with him and didn't know I had it) had an earache when it was running. This was when we first purchased it. I programmed the bart level myself. I received a program from the company to be able to do this. Then just download the program to the machine. I was a little confused at first how to do it but I was able to contact their tech person and he helped me.

Is it helping? I don't know. I haven't been using it like I should lately. Plus I'm doing so many things I'm not sure. I've now cut out some supplements and trying something new. I too have been off abx a while and don't want to go back. My doc still takes a low dose to keep the LD in check - I don't want to be doing that to myself. I hope this answers your questions. Sorry I can't be more concrete. Let me know what's working for you.

I have also used Rife. It works well but I am not sure if Rife alone is enough to completely eradicate the disease. First few times I tired it I had a bad herx reaction, after the 10th visit I really noticed my energy was improving and my pain was decreasing dramatically. My mental clarity was also greatly improved! I soon reached a point where I was no longer moving forward and it never completely cured me so I quit. I was seeing a Dr and he was letting me use his machine for free. I think normally he would charge about 40 bucks a visit or more depending on how well off financially he thought you were. I got about 40% better after rife but that was about it. I am now going the long term antibiotic route.

I love rifing! I think it is very effective. The thing is that it takes time to get there. I am 95% better and I feel that rifing has played a major part in this (I did also do abx. though for 17 months). Even though they say you shouldn't do it, the first 9 months I rifed I was on abx. and I know that many of the herxes were from the rifing. I have been off abx. for 4 months now and am still rifing. The only consistent symptom I have left involves my ear (my left ear feels clogged and i have pulsatile tinnitus in it - hear heartbeat). I am not even sure this ear symptom is from lyme or something else- seems like my sinuses are involved with it- trying to figure it out. Anyway, I feel pretty well now!

I have talked to many people who rife and if you are consistent with it, you will most likely have good results. Did you order a DT EMEM machine Frango?

Having said all that, I used to think Rife was a bunch of hooey. I come from a very traditional medical background and really had a hard time with this, but I tried a friends Rife machine recently and boy, did it do something to my symptoms.

LOL....same here. Also a medical professional and the premise of Rife just seemed like baloney, but I've now heard too many credible anecdotes of substantial and rapid improvement when Rife was added to the treatment plan.

Frango, what brand was the machine you used? You mentioned "EMEM". Is that a manufacturer and was that the type you used with apparent therapeutic effect?

Just my two cents...

Treated with oral abx for 16 months... IV Rocephin for 7 months... homeopathic (cats claw etc.) on and off... MMS, Salt/Vit C...

The 7 months of Recephin helped alot, but as soon as I stopped, my symptoms rapidly came back.  I built my own Doug Coil, which is said to be the most powerful of all Rife machines, and have been treating regularly for the past year.  Although the progress was very slow at the begining, I am now at 90%, with CD 57 levels skyrocketing.  Although this treatment may not work for everyone, I think it is the best option for long term chronic lyme sufferers.  I have since built machines for a few lyme friends, and all have had similar experiences.  The cost to build the machines is between $1200 and $1500, and one can be purchased for just over that from a fellow lymie in PA.  Lets face it $1200 was the cost of one weeks worth of Rocephin.  If I had it all to do over again.. this is where I would have began..... and finished.

Has anyone heard of the KMT machine? It is a hand held TENS unit with 12 frequencies, one specifically for Borrela, Bart, and Bab and yeast. $1600 through Biotools. connected to Dr. Klinghardt.

Has anyone used it? heard of anyone using it for LYmes?

Klinghardt's protocol is what I've followed, with varying degrees of diligence, for about 15 months now. His recommendation for Niacin has been the most powerful Lyme tx I've tried so far. Also heard of the KMT machine, but haven't tried it. Just too expensive!

I've just been reading through old posts and came across this one. It was recently suggested to me to try a rife machine and I'm really curious about going this route.

Are any of you that posted on this thread still rifing? Anyone else try? Wondering about results.

I asked about this a short time ago and GWC (hope I got that right from memory) gave me some information to check on - thanks again for that!

Any other opinions would be great.

I have een on rife machine for past 3 weeks and definitely have strong reactions to it. First time I felt it only on right side which is my side that is most effected from the lyme. then I started feeling it going through both my ankles and up
I am getting 3 days a week zethromas IV with the 3 hours of EDTA first but the rife everyday.

I can't say yet but it is a definite part of the protocol used at this clinic. for me it is very strong effect.

Sulma, how did the Klighardt protocol work for you?  Did you see him or just pick up his protocol from the web?  I found the pdf document of his "protocol" on his website but it is kind of all over the place and you don't know where to begin.  Was hoping maybe there was more of a step by step guide to his treatment.  Any info you can provide on Klinghardt and his protocol would be great.

There should really be a trial period for people purchasing any of these rife or coil machines.

I have experiencd a pretty high end rife machine for a few weeks last year and felt something??

But I saw other people go out of their skin when eve on it. It was like torture for this one woman and she never did get well and she stayed in this particular treatment place for over 20 weeks. She had Guillians Bar and of course lyme but she hated that rife.

Everyone has to try this first. and all te machines are so different.

Eery little thing is too different all day long for all of us. we can't just say this cure it or that cures it. there are so many factors involved.

$1500 is a lot of money if it doesn't work for YOU. There has got to be people out there with these machines that they are no longer using.

where are the used ones? and the big part is the programing.

I have a Doug Coil rife machine. I bought it new ($2500 or so) about 7 months ago. I started using it and then started feeling better and haven't used it in a few months. I'm glad I saw this thread because I really should start using it again.
