DOXY AND FLAGLY COMBO.

I have read that you can not take these two together (the cancel each other out). Does anyone know anything about this? I am currently taking Doxy, Flagyl and Zithro.

I don't know. Go online to a drug site and there is a checker to find out how drugs interact.

I've never heard that they cancel out one another.

The flagyl is supposed to work on the cyst "form" of lyme, but I am not sure I really believe it

The flagyl also keeps any C diff at bay from the effects from the abx.

This is the combo I was given when I started on abx for lyme. I did it for 5 months.

Yep, I read that in Dr. S's book THE LYME SOLUTION, and elsewhere. I think Dr. S (FLA) talks about that in his babesia book, as well.

Doxy can be taken with a macrolide, but not with Flagyl

I took both of these drugs at the same time last year. I was quite ill. Does anyone REALLY know what works and what does not? I dont think they do.

I think biaxin/flagyl would be a better idea.
