Hi everybody! I know that the date of the last entry was a looong time ago, but I thought
I'd post a response anyway. :) I wanted to let you know about another Lyme movie (though you've prob. already heard about it by now).
It's called Lyme life, and stars Alec Baldwin, Emma Roberts, Timothy Hutton, Cynthia Nixon, Jill Hennessy, and the Caulkin kids.
The Lymelife trailer is: http://vimeo.com/3693504
I was kinda confused as to whether or not Lymelife was mocking Lyme, in a way, or instead, showing the true devastation of it. So I searched for some reviews, and found this article:

For "Lymelife," it says in that article I posted what the inspiration was for touching on the subject of Lyme. Turns out that one of the co-writers had a highschool girlfriend whose father had Lyme, and committed suicide. So that experience has always stayed with him, and he wanted to bring awareness to the issue (just like the Under the Eightball covering Lyme b/c of his sister suffering so much from it).
It's SO exciting that we have these movies in addition to "Under Our Skin." It seem like the tide is turning for the Lyme community, thank God.
P.S. Alexa...I LOVE your comment about Spell Checker and Lyme! Wow, that would definitely be something worth celebrating!!! I also would REALLY love for non LLMD docs I've seen to stop saying and writing "Lymes" and "Lyme's." LOL
