UPDATE- Heart Valve and Side Pain Issues

I can finally update you all on 2 things some have wondered and complained about. The first is Heart Affected by Lyme. In July I was told I needed 2 valve replacements. The valves appeared to be damaged from bacteria. I became extremely short of breath with palpitations. This is after treating babesia for 2 years with no shortness of breath. I fought with the insurance company to allow me to get a nuclear stress test for 6 months. They refused to allow it because my lipid panel was good.. I had a treadmill test in September which I was unable to complete due to palps and shortness of breath-they made me stop. Continued to appeal to insurance to no avail. HERE"S THE DIFFERENCE---During the past 4 months I have began treatment for bartonella which I tested negative for but suspected I have it. I now have some palpitations and very little shortness of breath. I had a ultrasound stress test last week which I was able to complete and met with cadiologist today for results. The result is that I do NOT have to have heart surgery for valves thought they have been damaged they no longer seem to be affecting me. The stress test came out fine. I hope this taught the cardiologist a little something about Lyme. I connected the dots for him and attempted to explain more about what the antibiotic treatment had done for me he seemed perplexed and puzzled and wants to recheck in 6 months. I am releaved to say the least.

Now about the Pain and tugging under rib cage. I have mine on the left side under my breast. It feels deep inside and not from a muscle. I suspected maybe liver/spleen enlargement. I had an abdominal ultrasound which showed all is fine there as well. So any of you who have this pain just might find out that like most else with lyme and co-infections all tests will show there is nothing wrong that can be detected!!!!!However we cannot ignore symptoms ---just in case. So there is my update. I am much better since adding bartonella treatment to the lyme /babesia mix.

I tested positive for bart at the fry labs in az. but I also hear that he tells "everyone" that they are positive of bart.

I still think that maybe we all have all of these things floating around in us at all times.
How can we live in a bubble and not get bitten by a mosquitos or a flee from our dog?
I have three dogs I love to garden. And I get bitten by at least 6 mosquitos a day. Every day.

So, what is needed is a great immune system. No? Any ideas?

I have had this same problem underneath my ribcage on the left side.  Many Lymes have it! I would love to know what is causing mine Im too scared to find out! I need to get it checked, but Im pretty sure its from Lyme because I have seen many people post on this website that they have the same thing.  Could we put up a poll asking how many have this same symptom?

 Its a pushing (or pulling) underneath the bottom of the left ribcage.  Drive me nuts and scares the crap out of me.  Mine is starting to rotate around my back too.  I keep thinking I have Pancreatic cancer or something! Im only 33...I need to live ot see my kids grow up! I hate Lyme!  I do also have Bart too.  I kind of suspect that the ribcage pain is Bart. 

Thanks for all of your good wishes and responses. To answer the question of what I am now on:The bart protacol I have had since september is minocycline and rifampin. I also take malerone even though one is not supposed to take it with rifampin, my llmd tells me to anyway. I took mepron, and biaxin for almost 2 years before this along with zithromax. I am slowly improving as the days pass. Blessings

They said at the clinic that he found bart in just about everyone. If that means that most carry it...then maybe so.
Gosh if we can get it from a moscito then who has never been bitten.

I had been diagonsed with valve prolapse back in 99 I think. But a lot of women get it. They say it is like a door that should be like a kitchn door that should swing both ways, but with ours it only goes one way.
Taking an inhaler would set my off. So I stopped that. And stress gets it going too.
