werid symptoms

Hi this is my 1st post.

Im susspected to have lymes and am going to see a specialist in a couple of weeks. I have a lot of symptoms that are on the general symptoms list but im also having some really strange onesand was just curious to see if anyone else is getting them or had them at all

The 1st is my ears keep making little clicking / popping noises and my nose keeps making weird noises as well. My nose is like it sucking in air.

Has anyone had anything like that?

Iv been ill now for about 7 months. These 7 months have been the worst in my life. It started out for me feeling really spaced out and like everything was a dream. One day the feeling got worse which caused me to have a panic attack. I never had a panic attack before so went to my doctor and told him about the spaced out feeling. He didnt really have much to say but did some tests on my heart. They all came back fine. The spaced out feeling continued as well as my short term memory. Things i would do during the day seemed like they happend days ago not a couple of hours and i was feeling really fatigued. Then on came a set of head aches light headedness pressure dizzyness and weird swoosing feeling in my head. After many trips to the doctor i was sent to neroulogist who did an MRI. Everything came back fine. He couldnt find a cause for what i was feeling. I then started getting a tingly/numb feeling around my forehead nose and cheeck. So the neruo then did some other tests to see if he could find out what was causing this but all the test results came back fine.

My doctor said i had anxiety and to see a phsycatrist. I didnt agree with this and tried explaining that i was only anxious because of how i was feeling and i was getting any answers on what was wrong. But i went anyway and have been seeing her since.

Eventually the head aches faded but the spaced out feeling fatigueand tingling continued. Then came ear acheear poping/clicking nose poping over sensitivity to sound. The doctor then said i could have a sinus infection which could explain some of the symptoms i was 1st expeirincin. I went to an ENT but he couldnt find nothing wrong.

I then started getting twitches and little jerks. The jerks would occur in my neck legs and arms and the twitches or muscle spasms would occur in my arm stomach and legs. I was refered back to the neruo who ordered anoter MRI on my head and this time my neck. This all came back fine

Again i was told anxiety

I found lymes on the internet when searching the internet trying to find an answer for the tinlging and numbness and talked to my doctor about it. He was sceptacle because we dont really get it here in the UK but he ordered a test anyway but the results came back negative. I knew that wasnt conclusive but lymes was kinda put on the back burner.

The latest onset of symptoms have been stomach related. Bloating nausea diarahea, Stomach ache increased gas and wind.

All my other symtoms seem to come and go the only ones that seem to be perament and have gone since they came are the spaced out feeling fatigue ear poping and nose poping tingling and numbness. The rest come and go.

I have now found a lyme specialist and i have made an appointment to go seem in the 2 weeks.

Other symptoms i have had sore neck and shoulders as well as other muscles in my body, increased floaters and blue flashy lights. ( i have seen an eye doctor about these but he couldnt find any reason for this). testicular pain muscle burning sweets and increased effect from alchol.

The thing is as i said lymes isnt really common here in the UK and i dont really spend time in feilds on woodlands. THe only time i did was at a music festival about 1 months before the onset of all this started. I was bitted and stung a few times but was quite drunk over the period so dont really remember nothing to specific. I also recall having a rash on leg when i got home but im not 100% on that. I have trouble trying to seperate what actually happend and dreams i have as my dreams feel extremly real and vivid.

about 1 months after my symptoms my GF also started to feel ill and has remained ill having many of the symptoms i had/ have can it be passed on sexually? or is it posssible she was also bitten?

Iv had enough of being told its anxiety or im depressed cus im not before this i had nothing to be depressed about i recenly went back to college and despite all of this im still doing really well and im engaged and couldnt be happier. I admit i was anxious at the begining of this becuase i was worried about how i was feeling but i think anyone would be feeling the way i do. The physcatrist im seeing is a bit baffled becuase now im not worrying about it but the symptoms havent gone.

Sorry for the long post but thought id let you all know my full story. Id be interested in your thoughts on this and wether u think it is worth seeing the specialist (sometimes i have doubts that it can be lymes just becuase its rare)

Thats quite a long list of doctors. im glad it seems im not the only one cus sometimes it feels like im so lonley even though im not. Well my appointment is on the 23rd and it cant come quicker enough i cant wait and hope i finally have an answer to why the past 7 months have sucked. In a way im lucky my Dr has done everything he can for me and has never turned me away. I really appreciate your input to this.

Yeah i have read the newbie section iv been trolling this site for a while and finally posted today which im glad.

Il stick around and see what other info i can pick up and will deff keep everyone updated on the process of this.

The alchol thing is the worse im only 25 and used to be able to go out on weekends etc but i cant really anymore. the hang overs are the worst im bed ridden all day.

As much as these doctors want us to think that Lyme is not in our state....it is. I was told the same exact thing as you and was just diagnosed with Lyme. Like minerals I have been to a lot of doctors. They all thought I had anxiety and panic attacks. This all started off with me waking up one night thinking I was going to die. All of my senses were heightened. I was seeing colors a light brighter and darker than they really were. Smells would get to me and sounds would scare me. This started back in 2003. Now, I have more symptoms. I have most of what you listed.

I'm glad you're going in to see an LLMD because even though your test comes back negative, you can still have Lyme. Your doctor will make a diagnosis based on your symptoms. Those nasty critters hide inside of your muscles, bone, skin and sometimes inside your white blood cells so they don't get caught. That's why the test is so unreliable. They have to be out and active to be pulled out into your blood.

Also, the clicking could be from TMJ. Do you grind your teeth? I usually get the clicking noise in my ear when I talk or eat.

Fnind yourself the best LLMD you can, and read everything you can about Lyme before your appt.  You may even want to print some of the info so you have it with you for your appt.  Never doubt yourself, you know how and what you are feeling.  Keep researching, and question everything.  Best of luck on you appt, let us know what happens.
