Thanks for your response Judy.
The increase in my heart rate does not scare me - at least not yet. It just feels like an adrenaline rush that some might feel during a scary part in a movie. It lasts from 3- 10 minutes and then goes away. What bothers me more is how it feels like something is either trying to leave my body or the other way around. I will try and explain this as best I can.
It usually happens when I first attempt to go to sleep. I will get a feeling something is trying to quickly poke into my chest with numerous attempts. My eyes will flinch even though they are closed and I also feel very nervous. It isn't a dream. I am very aware of my surroundings and could probably have a conversation.
On other nights, I do not get the poking sensation. Instead I get the feeling something is trying to leave. It feels different in that I do not get the sensation that something is coming at me and I do not flinch. I really do not know how else to explain this.
OK- now I know I sound crazy.
Well, it is soothing to know your symptoms are going away with treatment. I do have an LLMD, but I am still doctor shopping and looking at alternative approaches because I am having a hard time with the antibiotics.
