IV Herbs? Anyone?

The standard for Babesia treatment seems to be Mepron and abx like biaxin.  After meeting with my LLMD yesterday, she has indicated that a 4-6 month IV herbal treatment for Babs vs. 12-18 months Mepron and ABX has been the significantly more effective in her practice. I am currently on Biaxin, Amox, and two herbs: Parastat and Paracidin. The IV herbs are expensive and I believe are given 1x per week.  I am going to run this by my new homeopath/chinese medicine dude tomorrow.

Plus, I found it interesting that she believes targeting the co-infection like Babs first, then the Lyme has been more successful as well. Of course, she is going after the Lyme, too, but not as agressively as the Babs.  Thoughts on this?

Well, now I am confused. My LLMD did say IV Herbs, but my when I went to get acupuncture yesterday I ran it by the naturopath and he asked the same questions you did! He thinks she must be doing a Myers Cocktail, but my LLMD told me that she would tailor the IV herbs to me and what she thought I could handle. I am going to find out and let you know!
