how long till i feel the effects of the doxy

Iv been ill for about 9 months now and only saw a lymes doctor about a month ago he prescribed me a 100mg of doxy twice a day. Iv been taking this for about 2 weeks but i dont think i have felt any change in my symptoms better nor worse. I know in the grand scheme of things 2 weeks isnt a long time but i was hoping i would feel some change in how i feel just to confirm that this is whats wrongs with me. I havent had no blood tests yet so there isnt no garuntee i have lymes. The Lymes doctor i saw said there was a deffinite possibility but iv been ill for so long im just worried that it isnt.

How long roughly did anyone feel a difference when taking medication?

I am on this dosage also and have been told it is too low.

I think the recommended dosage for doxy is like 300-400mg. It is probably too low. Ticker would know the exact dose you should be on.

I was on 200mg a day of doxy. - I definately had a 'herx' on that dose - it started 3 days after starting treatment - but I have read many times that a lot of people don't notice anything untill the fourth week of 'doxy/abx.'

I'm on 200 mgs a day and have modest improvements. I'll take that gladly.

I don't like having an upset stomach.
