I am writing on behalf of a friend. Her 15 y.o. daughter is very sick. Completely paralyzed, on a ventilator, being fed through a g-tube. She has what appears to be the Bartonella rash and has tested positive for bartonella in the past. She initially had a numb arm and it has progressed to complete paralysis. The daughter is at home, not in a hospital and they are in need of finding a LLMD to come to them. One doctor has offered at a cost of $10,000, which is unreasonable. If anyone has an idea of where they could get help PLEASE let me know.

Oh my gosh! How terrible. I'm so sorry this child has to go through this. There is a forum you can post to that will give you a doctors name that is closest to where your friend is. I don't know the name, but I will keep this post bumped up for you so that someone else can post it.

You are a good friend:). Good luck with everything.

lymelight3, your a rear friend indeed. i will pray for you and them to find someone soon and better days ahead. it is a sham this is happing to this child. i cry just thinking about it.

Thank you all for your kind words, information and prayers. I will forward the website information to her so she can take a look. I will keep you all updated and hopefully we can get this precious child some help.

My heart goes out to this girl and her family.
