thats good news, i live around columbia mo which is about 2 and 1/2 hrs away from there.. i was hoping there was something in columbia at the university hospital.

^^^thank you very much, i do have friends down there so i could stay with them.. i just feel like my symptoms are so bad so early, maybe its been dormant for years and me becoming super stressed and depressed about skin cancer has triggered the lyme. dunno? never will. i looked on the website for info about that doc, but couldn't find any numbers..

Isn't the doctor who named a form of lyme Master's Disease near Columbia, MO.  I don't know if he still practices, but I think he has trained some LLMD's near there.  

I went to Dr. C in Springfield and felt he was good.  Avoid Dr. R in Kansas City.

Below is a Lyme symptom list.  You can have any combination of symptoms. 

Unexplained fevers, sweats, chills, or flushing
Unexplained weight change--loss or gain
Fatigue, tiredness, poor stamina
Unexplained hair loss
Swollen glands
Sore throat
Testicular pain/pelvic pain
Unexplained menstrual irregularity
Unexplained milk production: breast pain
Irritable bladder or bladder dysfunction

Upset stomach

When Lyme is a possibility, it is very important to see a knowledgeable doctor.  Many doctors do not understand Lyme and treat with outdated protocols.  Besides Lyme, ticks can also transmit several co-infections including Babesiosis, two types of Ehrlichiosis (HME & HGE), Bartonella, and Mycoplasma.  Many people who have Lyme are co-infected.  It may affect treatment choice and progress.  It is important to be tested for these by a Lyme reputable lab such as IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA.
