So far it's very bearable, but the bottoms of my feet HURT when I first get out of bed.  This pain ends within minutes, but then the bottoms of my feet are sore  the rest of the day, in a kind of sore/ inflammatory way, if that makes sense.

I have seen this symptom listed in several lists. I realize that Lyme is whacko, but does anyone know what would cause this particular symptom? ie; is there a medical REASON for it?

Lyme,

Bartonella causes sore soles. I have it and I get sore soles and painful feet. Ask your doctor to get a co-infection test done.

yes my feet hurt alot of the time. like right now. feels like i have beat them on concreck. and me getting tested for co's lol it is laughable really cant get treated for lyme they dang sure wouldnt test me anything else..

check this out, soppossedly there is someone here where i live that is going to win the publishers clearing house whipstakes. i intered it, if I win..hehehe i am going to tell em why on cammar that it will go to treatment for lyme. and helping others who like me cant get a flipping Dr. to treat em.

i will even buy air time on TV for adds and awareness for lyme. we shall see. crossing everything i have here. it is on my fav date the 13th. heck someone has to win it why not me..lol

I was told it's a bartonella "herx" symptom.

CG, its the best way i know of to explan how they feel. i worked as a bartender for many yrs and most of em had concrete floors in them and no rubber mates. even with good shoes your feet would hurt after a hecktick night. now you add in no shoes and this is how i feel.

and i plan on winning too....lol

I have sore soles. Am overweight and over 40 is that also why? Don't know. NEVER had it before lyme test was positive.

I have to be careful but it's "bearable" like everything else.

Still drooling btw.

sore soles has been thought of as a bart symptom for as long as I've been reading lyme forums! Don't rely on testing to confirm it. I have it as well. I'm trying foot detox baths and pads and rubbing in cilantro oil....in addition to bart abx.

Mine don't trouble me enough to de-tox (tho I will start after seeing LLMD) Right out of bed, they hurt, and then they mostly feel --- not quite like RD -- but as if I have walked on really HOT concrete -- that type of soreness. I have seen this in lyme symptom lists, and even if it is a Bart symptom -- I was wondering if anyone knew what caused it. Like, what does Bart do that makes the soles sore like that?
