Anyone Hear of Worms in Ticks?

this was very interesting - whilst on 'doxy' - about 10 days into treatment I was experiencing what I would say was 'herxing' - long story short - [not for the squeamish!] - after some bad bowel issues - I had a lot of 'white'ish stuff??' in bowel movement - doc. said 'worms!!!' - I took a tablet - on his advice - two days later there was a lot more of this 'strange stuff??'

following all of this my digestive issues are soooo much improved - they were ;bloating/constipation/gurgling/GERD./lump in throat [feeling] - since that experience I have wondered about a connection between - spirochetes and nematodes [worms].

Okay. Listen. My mother had Morgellons. When we started researching Morgellons, we found out about Lyme, and all it's ugliness happening in our bodies seemed to be starring out at us from the comp screen. She was CONVINCED she had some kind of parasite living in her. Yes, she had lyme and now we are very certain she also had Bart, as do my sister and I.

This falls right in line with some other research of Morgellons and what Morgellons researchers/dr.s are saying. However, most researchers of Morgellons think Lyme and Morgellons is a co-infection. It's like what comes first, the chicken or the egg. For most Morgellons sufferers, it seems their Lyme symptoms come first. Most all Morgellons patients feel as if they have something crawling under their skin, which led to a study being done at the university of OK. These people had been diagnosed with Delusions of Parasitosis and sent to a psychiatrist, as was my mother. Funny thing though. When they were treated for Lyme their sores that they supposedly inflicted upon themselves because of their "delusions" went away. Huh.

I am not saying that this article is talking about Morgellons, but what I AM saying is that it is VERY interestingly similar.

Gorbybelle, you are not alone. My mother had some terrible bouts with stuff from her bowels. Her most horrific ones were VERY similar to what you are describing and at times she said they looked like an "octopus".

RD, my mother was very wise and very smart. She didn't have a degree of any kind but I swear by all that is good that she could have taught the researchers of Morgellons a thing or two. If you google Morgellons, you will find a lot of inaccurate info. I have learned that it may be a nematode, and it may be a bacteria that is trying to turn it's host into a plant, and that the crawling sensation is the bacteria/growing of fibers at work.

The CDC was forced to recognize just a couple years ago, that there is a new infectious disease emerging that people who had it are calling Morgellons.

I see this article was written in Feb. of this year. G*d help us all.

I am praying everyday, and I think even subconsciously, that my sister and I don't develop Morgellons.

jaleenasmom, was your mother treated for Morgellons or lyme if saw what meds was she on? Thanks,

Kendal, my mother was not treated for either, except for a few rounds of abx that we managed to convince her NP to give her. We are REALLY limited around here in the doctor arena. And she didn't have the money to travel and pay for treatment.

The closest thing to a good doctor around here is 125 miles south of us in Memphis TN.
