Its called Vertigo and it is no laughing matter. You need to be careful now. Hold on while walking up or down stairs. Be careful about
what shoes you wear now. Driving can be very dangerous. I use to keep my hand on a wall...sort of drag my hand, that way I was steady and did not bump into people or fall down. And be careful with pets getting under your feet. You could hurt them....and yourself.
Many on here have broken legs, arms and hips. Be careful and let others close to you know that you have vertigo. So that they can help you.
