my neck pain and back pain are gone away...i've been getting rocephin shots once a week. and seems to be helping me. i see my Dr. this thurs to see what i do next. still have inner thigh  pain but it is alot better though.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. It sounds like the Rocephin is working for you.

Thanks Stunned123, finally, after 3 years being on all kinds of stuff. i think the rocephin might be the one for me.

That is wonderful news! I love hearing these kinds of stories. It gives us so much hope.

I have a question for you. Why are you doing the shots instead of IV? I'm going to see a new doctor, hopefully soon, and need all the information I can get.

What is rocephin shot? I give myself 2 shots a week.

One is a cocktail of misc. meds the doctor has created he calls "Energy Special". I tis a combination of B12, AMP, Glutathione, NADH, Thymus, Methyl B12, Magnesium, Lidocaine.

The other is Immune Globulin.

Good for you that you are better!!!!!

That is an interesting combination. I bet the Lidocaine helps with pain. I've never heard of it being given that way. It sounds like a good cocktail to me!

I can't say I know that the cocktail is working. It's thick so it hurts; hope it doing something! I want to be able to have a post like Kendal's!

Rocephin is an antibiotic usually given through IV. That's why I'm curious about the shot.

CajunGrl, i do the shots because i do maintenance work. and i'm running around all day. i've been winding down on the meds. and exceriseing more. I just bought a infrared sauna its coming tomorrow. its a 2 person one. i hope soon i can go off the meds for good. Also the rocephin shot is a IM shot it goes right in to the muscle.

So glad you are doing so much better! You are a brave soul to take those Rocephin shots. I hear they hurt like crazy!!

1bitten2xshy, yes they do hurt.. i dont look forward to them but we have to try. i refuse to lay down with this disease. i'm going to beat it.
