I am doing well on IV Claforan ( with Zithromycin, Bicillin, and Flagyl pulses. Am finishing dental treatments ( great success with Dr L in CA).
I feel like I want a second opinion to help figure out " exit stragety" to get off IV. I have an appointment with Dr J (SC) in Nov ... But wondering about
Dr R (NY)....any opinions??

I understand they are both very good. Which one is closer and pricing might help in your decision, as I said I hear both are very good LLMDs.
So glad to hear you are doing well!

pcpc, both doctors come highly recommended. There are a couple of other Lyme doctors in NY who also come highly recommended.

Can't say either way but do want to say "CONGRATS" on reaching this stage in your recovery...which has been amazing. Thanks much for sharing it with everyone.

Thanks, but I am only midway or more or less who knows with this illness. It has taken me this long to accept how very sick I am. This disease has been so hard and lonely and slow and discouraging and rich and horrible. I only know that I am determined to win and learn from it and help others to figure out their path. I have not posted much- so much has been happening- but I will share it. You guys are all great I check this forum regularly and watch what we are all going through so courageously and even with a sense of humor. Life with Lyme is lonely but I have made many freinds from here and other sites on the internet and you all help me do this.

Hi pcpc!
Happy to hear you are doing well. Could you please email me the name of your dentist in CA? Thanks.
Best wishes, bablymers mom
