Just got on Doxy. When might I feel a change?

Hi,

If I do have Lyme (not sure, but my doctor gave me meds anyway) when might the meds "kick in"? I got the tick bite about three weeks ago, so I imagine any infection I have isn't very far along or severe.

I've been on the meds for 2 days and don't feel any better yet...

Also, is muscle twitching common? I've been having a lot lately (along with my other flu-like symptoms).

If you don't have Babesia, and your tick bite is recent as you say, you should feel much better in three weeks. If not, you should have a blood smear by a reputable lab to look for signs of protozoans.

And yes muscle twitching was a major neurological symptom.

muscle twitching is very normal.. just take some vitamin d with magnesium to help with the twitching
