will be needing a dr in south florida

I am moving to south florida (sunrise area) to be closer to family...i am in need of a dr WHO TAKES INSURANCE..I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH...i know people want to help me others the best care posssible but i am broke, bankrupt and had to stop seein an llmd because i could not longer afford it....even if one gets some reimbursement...i don't have the money upfront

anyway...i did a search on the lda website and came up with a few names and also got a name from the lda leader in florida...but that dr is 4 hrs from me (my family told me they can take me to drs appts but only if they are close by because they cannot get off work)

so..i know i cannot mention full names but so far i have:

dr n. p in sunrise (female..takes insurance)\

dr c. c. boca raton (male...hispanic name)

dr. M LaP. (male)

Dr C (tampa bay area)  male takes insurance but 4.5 hrs from me

If anyone knows of anyone else..please let me know or any experiences with them.  I had long term steroids from a spinal cord injury and have never been the same since...my current dr will not do ivs but i am moving anyways.

thanks for any info.  I have blue cross blue shield.  And yes, I know the drs who take insurance usually are limited in what they can do treatment wise but it is my only option aside from no treatment at all.

Welcome to the forum! I see 1bitten has already taken care of you:) I just wanted to add that yes, the doctor in Tampa, Dr. C, does take insurance. This is who I will be seeing in the next two weeks.

it seems that alot of people see dr c and he is beswt in florida so i might have to find a way there..a bus or something
