Do any of you have an occasional glass of wine or cocktail to help you get to sleep?

Hi RD,
That's too bad! What do you take to sleep or what do you do that relaxes you.
I went to bed at 10 PM last night and was still awake at 2 AM. I had one glass of wine but I obviously didn't help. I was up and down and finally gave up and got out of bed at 7:30. Lots of brain fog today!
Wishing you well!

i cant take anything as a lot of the stuff you get to help you sleep works backwards on me. sometimes i am still up at 7am and i almost never sleep past noon, even if i am still up at 9am
me and sleep havnt been friends in about
20+ yrs now. and i use to love it if i could sleep 9 hrs LOL, now i pray to get at leat 4 and 5 is a blessing.
i have found that if i watch TV it helps me best tho. it seems to be the only way i can relax my mine enough.

Oh RD, I am so sorry!
You are, and have been/ in my prayers!
I wish I could fix everyone on this site! Thanks for always replying to my posts.
Why can't they find a cure for this??? No response required.
I have felt better today than I have in a week.
A good day for me is a bad day for your average Joe! I'm sure you know the feeling!
I know about
watching TV. Why is it that we can fall asleep watching TV but can't when we get in bed??? Bummer!
Hope you are able to sleep tonight and have sweet dreams!
Peace!

only thing i come up with is this, when watching TV you relax your mind. then it is able to stop the constance thinking process enough for you to sleep.
for me my mind is going 1,000 miles a min all the time. so i have to be able to Chanel it on 1 thing long enough to sleep. if that makes since to anyone.
and i have found the pest shows to sleep to are on the history Chanel. i love to watch or lesion to things i can learn something. even if i do fall asleep i can still retain some of it.
if i fall asleep watching a action or horror movie i will have dreams about
them and wake up 100 times. my mind is working on the plot.LOL
i do hope and pray you can find something that works for you soon.
and my prays go out to everyone, an for a cure very soon...
