Rented it last night, thumbs down for me.

Charlie (Timothy Hutton) is afflicted with Lyme disease, But I have to say the movie is more about two dysfunctional families. They touched on Lymes disease in a very small way. I would say the movie was just ok.

Alec Baldwin stars in it along with Emma Roberts and Jill Hennessy.

Hi Ria,

Aside from only touching on Lyme Disease in a very small way, did the movie hold your attention in any way, such as the plot, scenery, or character development? Just curious, as I am a movie lover.

In a small way. Alec Baldwin was very good in it and I thought Rory Culkin was very good also. The rest of the cast was boring and they are usually very good. Very slow moving. Just not for me sorry : (

I can't stand any of the Baldwins:) Not trying to offend anyone! I just don't think I could watch it because of him...unless you had said that it was very good and helpful. But, since that is not the case, I wont be watching! Thanks for letting us know!

I already rented it and am going to watch it tonight. i really didn't think it would be focused on lyme, more like a small mention. it did get over 7 stars out of 10 on imdb.com, which seems pretty good for that review site.

thanks for your review of it! i watch so many bad movies, so if this happens to be another one, oh well!
