Does anyone have burning sensation througout there body.... 

I dont mean it feels hot  on your skin and then goes away (I have that too)   I mean a burning like theres acid or something agravating your nerves...  Since I have gotten on allicin, its been quite bad...   Lyme doc said it means infection is deep, or perhaps my body is creating acid to kill the lyme, fungus..

Any thoughts?? Thank you

I have had this. I tend to get it on my face (near my temples or forehead), and in random spots on my legs, as well as my feet. My doc thinks it is due to Lyme sitting on my nerve coverings, and aggravating my nerves.

It sounds as if you might be herxing and yes it makes sense that the infection is deep in the nerves. I believe my llmd told me the same thing.

Right after I started antibiotics I would get it very bad under my arms. It felt so sore like the skin was burning off yet there was no rash or visible signs.

I also had severe, unbearable itching that actually hurt deep in the palms of my hands and feet right after I started one of the antibiotics (can't remember which one). It was alleviated by benadryl and went away after a few days.

We all certainly suffer with and experience the strangest things when it comes to LD.

I have also had these sensations, although it is not a painful burning for me.  I have it in my abdomen area, down my legs, in my head.  Sometimes, it is also a tingling feeling.  It is interesting to read the information that it is because lyme is sitting on the nerve endings.  I have stopped antibiotics for the past two weeks and feel an increase of these symptoms and more.  I am doing my best to detox and cleanse and starting jernigans protocol.  It is hard because you wonder how long you can go with these scary symptoms.  I can see why we go back to the antibiotics.  I, too, am debating and hope these symptoms go away soon.

I have posted something like this a few days ago -i get these sensations quite often and i recall someone mentioning they've had these sensations quite a while so i don't think they are an immediate threat. However i have read in Dr. Jernigan's book that they can relate to toxicity. I have also heard from my LLMD that this is a nerve thing.  I think it will be interesting to see if during my detoxifying process this sensation begins to go away.

Finding721- it is good to hear that they are not an immediate threat. I have been doing my best to detoxify and cleanse and I feel like these sensations have definitely become more prevalent since I've stopped taking the meds 2 and a half weeks ago. I feel like it has affected my speech as well which freaks me out- I can feel the burning tingling feelings in my gums and mouth. I also hope that in the coming days/weeks that this begins to go away. I am at a crossroads in my treatment and trying to decide which way to go. I am under the care of a llmd who doesn't know I've started Jernigans protocol.

Hi kelly1234 you know if you would like guidance with jernigan's program there is a list of doctors/clinics on his website- that use his products and protocol- they are all located in different states if you have the money it might be a more affordable option than going to his clinic. I have thought of doing this myself if my nautropath here isn't willing to walk me through it. Just a thought- i believe this list is under his links page somewhere. :)

Raising this subject back up- how is everyone doing with burning throughout the body? How long has everyone had it now? Has anyone heard anything else from their doctors about it?

I get pain like burning from my knees down my legs when I lie down. Anyone else? Does anyone know what causes this?

I started new meds 2 weeks ago and last week is when the burning started. I get it in the back of my head though. Feels like it's on fire. I usually get it in the same exact spot too. weird.

hmmm wondering if maybe this is a herx reaction? I was also concerned this may be a toxcity symptom, but when searching on the net i found it relates to Fibro and MS and even just anxiety.  Still don't know what to make of it.  It seems most people have had it recently, has anyone had it for a while?

Personally, I get it everywhere- quick little twinges of "icy hot" feeling if that can even describe it.  Also get it on my head which really freaked me out the first time I felt it.

finding - that is the perfect description - twinges of icy hot. I've got it on my back too, mine doesn't happen often though. I would like to know if it's a herx thing, a detox thing, or what. I don't see my Doc until Dec 16th though and I'm sure I'll forget by then. lol

My friend helped my describe it cause i couldn't figure out how! lol it's something she used to feel but doesn't any more. I wish I had some answers for this! lol

JenninPA- do you still get this? I made a seperate post about this recently but was wondering if you still get the on icy hot feeling on the back of your head occasionally? I just got this 2 days ago again- haven't had it back today- was wondering if baths help relieve it...just wondering what you did about this sensation or if it went away, did it always just stay in one spot or did it feel like it moved to other spots?
