Traveler....thanks for the hot drink advice, have both and will try them. anything to feel warm again. Going to try the detox bath too. I have street water so probably need the ball.
Cajun...sorry I didn't see your posts or
[email protected] this the address your using?
Remission is Lyme, fatigue is gone as well as most brain fog, but I still don't feel as good as I did before Lyme and sometime have tremors. Remember mine was caught early so didn't even come close to the nightmare others are going through. I was lucky.
Breast cancer...well I've had my surgery and reconstruction (breast lift) but margin was not clear, some cancer remains so will be having more surgery. FYI margins are healthy tissue surrounding the tumor, the surgeon takes some of that too hoping there is no cancer, but some cancer remains, didn't get it all. I have a choice, hope radiation gets it or go back for more surgery. Every reply on the Breast Cancer Forum says go back have surgery and get it out...so I will.
I haven't even started radiation or hormome therapy, radiation will be five days a week for six weeks, hormone, Arimidex, a pill will be one daily for five years. Radiation will cause fatigue to come back and cause some burns on my breast. I'm so glad I won't be having chemotherapy which can have more severe side effects tham Arimidex.
Again I am lucky. My BC is a very curable kind and it's not in my lymph nodes. What I have is HER2 minus, estrogen + Progesterone + I'm in stage 2-A which is early. My cancer is because I'm producing too many hormones and Arimidex will stop production. One of the side effects of Arimidex just about
everyone has is hot flashes, but since I'm feeling cold all the time they might even feel good
Thanks for thinking about
me Cajun there is not a day I don't think about
you and what 99% of other Lyme posters are going through. I can't figure why I didn't see your posts,
I check in here to read every day.
Said it before and will say it again if I had to choose which disease I had to have I would choose breast cancer over Lyme anyday. Of course I really haven't started treatment yet, but when I do I'm sure/know I won't change my mind. I had a touch of Lyme in camparison to you and it was still the worst time of my life.
Bless all of you on HW for just being here for each other. Nothing better that knowing you're not alone.
