Lazy Mouth is how I describe this symptom- Anyone Else?

I don't know how else to describe it, but whatever it is, it's happening again.  Most recent occurance started last week.  My mouth feels lazy, drool accumulates in the corners of my mouth and I feel like I'm mumbling.  My front-teeth feel like they are in the way when I speak.  I've had this problem on and off for the past 8 years or so, but I've always chalked it up to being in my head.  Now that I've been diagnosed with Lyme (in my spinal fluid), I think it is neurological.  I am just wondering if anyone else has this symptom.  My friends said they can't tell a difference in my speech, but I have trouble pronouncing anything that begins with F.  I am very self-conscious about it.  Anyone else?

Your symptoms seem simlar to mine. I will tell you what happened to me. Maybe it will help? Just so you know I am OK and working on getting better.

I had what they call TIA.

The first one I had was where I had a sharp pain on the left side of my head. Then I tried to talk but my mouth would not work. It felt like my tongue was swollen. It did not last to long. Later I had weakness on the right side of my body.

The second one I had pain on the back of my head and I started crashing into everything.

I tried to get an appointment to see a Nero doc. I called lots of differant ones. They had waiting list to get in 6 weeks long (I was lucky my friend is a nero nurse an got me in right away)
They spent tons of money on tests (MRI, MRA with and without contrast, among other things).

The thing that my Nero doc told me is they can't see it unless you have the test while it is happening. That mean spending lots of money in an ER. I did not even recognize the symptoms of the second one.

I was told to take baby aspirin to prevent it from happening again. Unfortunately I have a tendency to hemorrhage so that is not a good option for me. The second suggestion was to make sure I exercise everyday. To keep my blood moving so it does not get stagnant in any part of my body.
I have been finding this to be very helpful. It affects the way my brain functions. I can think clearer and focus longer if I exercise. If I don't my energy levels drop and it is hard to focus. On days that I just do not want to move I try to do some thing. It is so easy to just sit sill but I know I will end up really down with aches and pains in all over. I get all kinds of funny symptom if I sit to long. I just do not want to go there.

I think that exercise is my best fiend these days.
