Buying epsom salt and hydrogen peroxide

Rite Aid has a 6lb bag that is easier to handle than the cartons.

Maybe we should all get dressed up in sneaky spy outfits and make a run on all the drugstores at once and cause a media sensation!!!

On second thought, perhaps we don't want the attention of the Office of Homeland Security. Makes me giggle to think of it, though!

Actually pharmaceutical hydrogen peroxide is not sufficiently pure to be soaking in so frequently. It is not FDA approved for that use, and for good reason.

Food grade hydrogen peroxide is the only grade approved for internal use. If you buy it in bulk it is actually the same price as the pharma grade you get at the grocery store.

It's 35% H2O2, as opposed to just 3% like the store bought stuff, so you need way less of it. One 8oz cup treats a standard sized tub full of water.

I get mine at this place. Buy two gallons at a time to get the best value.

I have never done the detox bath. I was told by my yoga instuctor to use the salt. But I have never heard of the peroxide before.
I mean, it that the same stuff that they bleach hair with?
I had gotten 60 cc's of perioxide pumped into me daily and it made me smell like punch or pickled corn.
But I did not know about soaking in it. I will have to do my homework.

Your welcome. I hated buying small boxes and going through them so quickly. These large bags last a long time. I use 2 cup fulls in each bath. I don't do the peroxide either. Just the salt bath. Not sure what the peroxide does. I had done them before in the past, but prefer just the salt bath.
