CD57 test question

I got the results of my first CD57 test yesterday - it's about 90.  Sounds like this is good, but needs to go higher.  Wondering if it ever reverts backwards, or if it should just continue to get better with treatment?

Well, she said some people's are way low, like in the 20's, so I'm making progress. I've been on meds for 6 months already, so it makes me wonder how much longer...I do still have lots of symptoms, but they aren't as bad as they had been. I was just wondering if the numbers go up and down during treatment, or if it just continues to go up as long as you continue treatment until you're either *cured* or without symptoms, anyway?

She said 200 or greater, but was happy with my progress so far.

My CD57 was 14 this summer, when I was diagnosed. The last tick bite I had was when I was 10 or 12, now I´m 21. I´ve been through 18 weeks of antibiotics. 12 weeks of IV ceftriaxone, followed by 6 weeks of oral clarithromycin. After all of that, my CD57 is now 47. So much higher, but I still have SUCH a long road ahead of me. Tomorrow I´ll start on another 8 week course of orals. Cross your fingers for me! I wish I could run around with all the energy of a normal 21 year old. Instead I feel like my grandfather until his death was far more full of life than me. I feel like a slowly fading flower that´s just fading away from the real world.

Vin, you are the first person I´ve met to have anything lower than 14. Thanks for posting that, because now I feel like I should get my act together now and realize there are people out there in a far worse struggle than me. I´ll be crossing my fingers for you! Again thanks, I needed to hear that.
