I'm currently seeing Dr. S and would like a change. So far I'm being treated with abx and probiotics but i think I need more. I'm beginning to get heart problems, almost fainting at one point. I was dx last year but have had symptoms for 2 yrs b4 that.

Please send me info on both Dr.s in Flemington and Dr. F in NJ (where?). I will try all especially any that uses natural remedies as well. if you know of any doctors that use Natural / alternative medicines in conjuction with abx, in the NY, NJ, and CT (close to NY) areas, please let me know.

I was sick for four years and took the day off work and travelled an hour to finally see an llmd and see if I had lyme.  Dr. S.  looked over my extensive medicals that I had brought in in another office and then came in for a total of 10 minutes and that was it.  I could not hear him, he answered in very short abrupt answers, and did not offer any advice or explanation.  That is not for me.  I need to be able to communicate and do not stand for bad bedside manner.  When I  had a horrific herx from his treatment, he called me back and was the same way on the phone.  I  never went back.  he may be a very good lyme dr. but I am a human being and need to be treated as such.  Perhaps he was having a bad day but I had a bad 4 years and deserved more than 10 minutes.  Just my opinion.

I have been absolutely delighted with Dr S. I've been going to him for over 18 months and am feeling very near to being totally well. I guess it's all about treatment preference. I was more interested in getting treated than in talking about it or me. I think it was a whole year before we actually had a conversation. Prior to that time, I don't think I was worth talking to! His attention is concentrated on getting rid of the disease(s) you have, not on you. He is very experienced-- I think more than twenty years of dealing effectively with Lyme. I really valued his matter-of-fact very calm approach. When I was really ill it was very reassuring to have a doctor who gives you the feeling that there is no cause for alarm and that there is no question you are going to get better. His staff is very warm and caring.

I would like to request for the LLMD doctors in NJ. I have seronegative results for lyme but tremendous pain in my joints especially knees and wrist/fingers

This is an older thread...if you don't get reponses on this one...please start a new thread titled: Looking for LLMD in NJ"


You should also enable your email...so members can send you names - we can't post the LLMD's names on here for privacy reasons (we need to protect our Dr.'s.)

I'd also like to point out the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?..Start Here!" - its full of good information - symptom lists, info on probiotics, detoxing suggestions, and more.
