Hi everybody. A friend/neighbor of mine needs a llmd in or near Chester County, PA. She tested positive for Lyme and had a short course of doxy from her PCP. The Lyme came back and she has had 2 months of doxy. She feels fine now but wants to see a llmd to make sure the treatment was enough.

She doesn't want to travel as far I do to see my doc in NJ. And she doesn't want to have to spend a lot of money. One doc in Kennett Square was going to be $2000 just for the initial consult.

Any ideas?

$2k for the initial consult? does the doc takes insurance?

I am seeing one of the finest, almost the god of llmd, and even he doesn't charge 2k for the first two visit combined.

Is Chester County anywhere near this Harverford place. You can look up thier website.

achievinggrace $2000 ? does that include blood work like Igenex?

Does a real lyme doc really need the $900 Igenex test? what is it telling them?
How to treat? co infections?

I'm trying to read my igenex results and it is so confusing.

Is this just to prove we are not hypochondriacs?

I think there are more psy****rists discovering lymes now than anyone.

My pharmacologist shrink asked me at least 3 times..."Are you SURE about LYME??"

I kept saying "Nah..who ? me? no way? I never had a bullseye!."

How nuts is that? I have a photo of me in my pajamas feeding the cutest little deer off the deck of my house on

I live in chester county, you can e mail me for info. i think I know the dr. you are talking about that is 2,000 for first visit. there are a couple of more in the area.
