Pain in lower right abdominal area

I have been having this pain for the last three days and wonder if it's related to Lyme or not. Short, stabbing pains -- not awful, just uncomfortable -- near my appendix. Just wondering if I need to go to yet another doctor to have this checked out (don't want a burst appendix!) or if it could be related to Lyme...

Are you running a fever or feeling nauseated at all? Those are a couple of symptoms that come with appendix problems, but not always. If it keeps up it would be a good idea to have your doctor check it out.

One test they use in my doctors office to check appendix is to jump on just your right foot. If it REALLY hurts your stomach to do that, most likely is the appendix. In my daughter's case, she couldn't stand because the pain was so bad so the doctor hit her right heel while she was laying down and the pain was enormous. Sent us to the hospital and her appendix came out a few hours later.

In a way, Lyme & co's are responsible for a lot that goes on in our bodies.I have had to have as hysto, appedendectomy, and my gall bladder removed, & I believe that it's because of TBI's, as it drags down everything.

But if the pain continues, please get checked out by a good doc!! There are so many things can could be going on, it's really hard for anyone here to understand what it could be.

I don't want to scare anyone, but it's better to err on the side of caution, IMHO.

Each time I had one of 'those' pains checked out, I have had to get on medication, or have something removed, as it was diseased &/or ready to rupture.

Could be a spasming bowel, muscle or blood vessel. I get strange lower-right abdominal pain sometimes that is intermittant like that when the end of my small intestine (where it joins with the large intestine) is inflammed or irritated sometimes. It is believed in my case that the Lyme has inflammed my bowels, but this may not be your case. It would probably be a good idea to ask your LLMD about this just to be sure.
