Anyone's ears get plugged when herxing? Is this part of it?

Do you mean pressure in the ear? If so, this was one of my first symptoms. I'm not sure what a herx feels like, as I have yet to experience one. My son's ped said that when she worked in the ER (Maryland), she saw a few people with lyme have the pressure in the ear sensation. She said it was from intracranial pressure.

It feels blocked. Like I have water in my ear and I can hear myself talk. Really annoying.

I had this too, not sure if its a herx or related to the abx. Zithro and Mepron.

I had this so bad that one day I was driving to my doc and heading down a big hill
which made my ears feel even more full like there was liquid in them. So I held my
nose to pop my ears from the pressure and I blacked out. My vision was blurry and
then I had no vision for like ten seconds. It was the scarriest thing I had ever went
through with lyme. And being by myself made me even more scared.

I have not been on abx for some time now, & I still deal with 'plugged' ears from time to time. So it would seem to me that it could easily be connected to an tick-borne-infection, rather than only an abx.

Harleyrider, I went through something very similar, only I wasn't trying to un-plug my ears at the time. I used to travel with my husband for his work, and had decided I was too ill to keep going, so I decided to come home. On the way to the house (a 10 hr trip) I blacked out while driving - only for a second, but that was more than enough to scare the bejeebers right out of me!!!! I pulled off the road & just sat there for about 30 min., as I was afraid it would happen again. Obviously, I made it back to my house ok, cause I'm still here! :) :)
