Hi mom 3,
Hang in there, in Aug-Dec i was horrible, but with proper treatment you will get better. I'm feeling some better, but it wasn't until ketek/mepron and flagyl MWF for 4 weeks that i made some improvement. I could feel the lyme/babesia overtake the weaker abx, fortunately my dr (llmd) believed me.
This is my first post, i actually registered here to offer you a bit of hope. I usually post on healthboards. When you have really bad lyme, there's almost always coinfections. Babesia offers clues before you get "really bad". In hind sight, my babesia was cylical and presented with anxiety and I couldn't sleep on the flares, the morning i felt some better (or into that night) the next morning i would have really dark urine. I've been on meds for 11 months but didnt' feel much improvement until the babesia was addressed. Oh, and you will hear many things and a lot of different advice, and while vitamins/detox is good you really have to get the bacteria/parasite load down to feel better.
