Lyme: Brain Fog Question, please help this girl if you can!

Hi there,

I met someone on facebook who is really ill.  I just want to show her that others are going through this and maybe some of you can post what you did about it.

She said her brain feels like it is floating in jello. Anyone get this? She is on alot of antibiotics on and off every two weeks and she takes diflucan for the antifungal end of it. Just trying to help another victim of Lyme Disease. 

Can I ask that others just post that they too have this or had this and just some suggestions about what to do?  Does she need to ride it out or do any or you think it might be linked to too many antibiotics, etc.?

We can thank the Infectious Disease Society for all they have done, absolutely nothing.

Hi Robin,

Brain floating in jello is a new way of putting it, but it fits perfectly for what I used to feel! I had it from lyme and bartonella- it got a lot better after I treated bartonella. Yeast can also aggravate it though, so taking the diflucan is probably a good idea.

My doctor did tell me something about how the brain fog is caused by toxins from the bacteria...I don`t remember the details though.

Dr. Jernigan believes it's the ammonia in the brain that causes the problems. His products are formulated to get that ammonia out. She may want to consider using them. Here's the link to his article, "Ammonia on the Brain." http://abc.eznettools.net/jernigannutraceuticals/ammonia.html

I know I feel better after being on this protocol. I did abx initially for six months and switched over to naturals.

There is hope.

Lyme disease is an infection that your child can get if he's bitten by a tick carrying certain bacteria. Doctors call it the "great imitator" because it mimics other diseases, making it difficult to diagnose; in addition, a blood test can't confirm it until about three weeks following the bite. Left untreated, the infection can develop into a serious long-lasting illness that can cause nerve damage, arthritis, and heart problems such as irregular heartbeats. Fortunately, the disease is preventable and usually responds well to treatment.

Due to these so called tests, which are so unreliable, not weeks but months even years after being infected, millions are falling through the cracks because the tests are failing them.

Take, for example, the ELISA (in the lyme world, its known as the test that lies.)

With a 30%accuracy rate, lets say that 1,000,000 people are bitten in the next six months.  That means 700,000 will NEVER know they have it unless they know Lyme Disease and know that the test is a gamble. Unfortunately, instead of the physician telling the patient the truth about these gamble-type tests, they say "you don't have Lyme Disease."  So, you start looking for answers and never in a million years did you think your doctor would use a test on you that is not reliable.

Now, with the Western Blot, again not even close to being reliable, you have a better chance of testing positive, but not much.  That test is approx. 65% accurate. 

 When and if the Infectious Disease Society and the big pharma ever allow a reliable test to hit the market, that is when the truth will come out.

And get ready, that is when the entire medical industry will crumble.  Unfortunately, the Infectious Disease Society is making it very clear they never ever want the horrible infections that ticks carry to ever be told to the world.  But, guess what? It is.  Watch "Under Our Skin".  Everytime I watch this, I cannot believe how inhumane our medical industry really is. I am not talking about nurses and doctors who are innocent through this. I am talking about the dark side of all of this. The ones who know that ticks carry horrific infections, far beyond Lyme Disease.    How many of us will it take?   

Millions are suffering so needlessly.   I will continue to tell the world about Lyme Disease.  Its the root cause of so many other illnesses.  Its scientifically proven but politically squashed.

For those too sick to fight, I will fight for you while I can still stand.  I never want anyone with this crap to feel any worse because they can't fight.  You have CajunGirl and 1bitten2Xshy and just so many people out there who care!  This forum is so great!

When I initially heard of Plum Island and the animal/science studies being conducted there, well, I didn't want to believe that this is where it could stem from.  It was all so much for me to handle.  Afterall, in America, we would never allow such a huge secret to remain a secret, especially if it was costing the lives of millions of people right?  So, I have one friend in the Lyme Comm, well I have lots of friends in the lyme community, but this one friend who lives in Pennsylvania, who due to a child very ill for years, has studied lyme very closely.  She never lets her emotions run with her, unlike me.  I knew she had the answer but I was afraid to ask her what she thought of Plum Island. But, I called her and asked her "So, please tell me your thoughts, what do you think of Plum Island and the connection and do you believe that is why they have covered up this massive horrific infection?  I said to her "please do NOT tell me you think this is true, do you?" 

Silence on the other end and there was my answer.  I trembled most of the day knowing the truth was yes, Plum Island was known for tick testing, and God knows what else. I posted something regarding Plum Island and a friend of mine, due to lyme, told me she can see Plum Island from where she lives. Of course she is really ill too.

I am sorry if I bummed you out.  I do NOT though have 100% proof but you have to ask yourself, why in the world, other than the fact they have been using lousy testing methods for years, would they want to hide this? Why is the world NOT told about all the infections ticks carry.  I have often heard that ther countries also have experimented with the infections ticks carry for their biowarfare.  I can see why, it will stop most of us from doing anything!   If you ever have a chance, look up the Tuskegee experiment.  It was done over a span, I believe of 30 plus years. They injected black males in the south with syphilis, told them it was to help their blood because they lied and told these poor folks they had bad blood. It was done by, you guessed it, the Center for Disease Control in the good ole USA  Now, of course people will say that was years ago, but I say, evil has no end and when it comes to money, well you know....

Good news is there is way too many of us now. I heard a Civil Actin is being stirred up now. Keep in touch and I will keep you updated.  We have had it.   Since the IDSA has chosen NOT to change their guidelines, we have to protest and take action so they do change their evil waysl

It bothers me to no end that you are not able to be treated because insurance refuses to pay. I have a question about whether you have looked into something that me Dr offers. He is in Florida but it may be something worth looking in to if you haven't already.
