about
a year ago, I got a rash on my forehead. It is a raised circular rash about
the diameter of a dime with a redish boarder and small white puslike, granular insides (nice huh!). At first I thought it was adult acne (never had acne in my life) and it would improve with topical otc creams. It would wax and wane but now is out of control! It is painful and now all over my face and moving in my mouth and eyes. It is also on my legs, arms and back. I have been treated by the dermatologist for about
3 months with no improvement. She has tried topical antibacterial and fungal ointments and also oral meds (both antifungal and antibiotics). She also cultured it and said it came back negative! Last week the dermotologist said she and her partner discussed my case and said since they had not encountered anything like it that it must be Lyme related and that I should see my LLMD.
I saw my LLMD today and he said it may be Bart related and prescribed a combo of meds. I agree and feel like it must be more fungal in nature.
Anyone have any ideas? I had a terrrible time with oral thrush (my LLMD doc saw mild thrush today). I have had boatloads of probiotics and my CD57 (immune function has always been very low 37 the last check).
I hate this nasty disease!
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Any info would be much appreciated!
