Just wondering how long from the start of your symptoms until you started treatment and how long you have been in treatment for or how long you WERE in treatment before getting better??

For me Symptoms started Jan 2010 and will be seeing LLMD in September and will likely start treatment then so about 9 months

Hi Jackie,

My symptoms started in early June 2009. I was diagnosed with Lyme six weeks later starting treatment in July 2009. Ufortunately, I am still taking antibiotics trying to recover from severe neuropathy. Hoping that I am on the right track now towards recovery.

HA I wish I was starting now. My family doctor will NOT give me any medication (he did give me 3 weeks of doxy last month) but that is ALL he will give me. I know its CRAZY!

Jefferson Hospital in PA recommands 4-6 weeks of abx. I was also given 3 weeks and it did nothing... Symptoms came back within a couple of months... It is so sad that many doctors are so dumb...

Can you get abx on line, without a prescription???

if one can get heroin you can get doxycycline. if it were my life i would be treating with some sort of antibiotics now. find another dr, get it online, have a friend get you some, make up an illness...

thanks for your reply. How do I get it online? I am really new to this and can I get it online without a prescription? I cant find another doctor because I live in Canada and it doesnt work like that. You have ONE GP and you have to get referred BY Your GP to the specialists and that takes months.

Maybe they can help you out with your doctor situation.

As for me, I was infected as a very small child & was never treated properly for it.
