New and need LLMD

Hi, I was just diagnosed and the Dr. I was referred to said Lyme does not exist in MO.  I need help finding a LLMD please.  I'm in St. Louis but I will drive anywhere in the state or surrounding states to get better.  Thank you for your help

I don't know of a doctor in MO - but check out this website:  http://flash.lymenet.org

They have a forum for Seeking A Doctor.  Hopefully someone will point you in the right direction soon!  Hang in there!  Help is on the way.

Go to this site and email info on LLMD. I believe there are a couple of them in MO.

Welcome to our forum!! I am really sorry that you have a need to be here, but I'm really glad you found us!! I'm sure you will find us to be a caring, helpful & understanding group. One of the best things you could do - if you haven't already- is to read through the thread at the top of our forum titled "New to Lyme?...Start here" - but don't stop there!!

You need to be your own health advocate now more than ever. Be sure to get copies of all test results, don't just take what the doc is willing to tell you about the tests. You will need to know not just that you are (or are not) in the "normal" ranges any more.

I have heard some really great things about the doc in your area!! I don't have his contact info any more, but hopefully you can get in to see him soon!
