SHOW ABOUT PLUM ISLAND/LYME ON FRIDAY 10/15 AT 10PM

I just received a link for a tv show that TruTV is doing about Plum Island and Lyme disease.   It's suppose to air this Friday night Oct 15th at 10pm.  I don't know what channel TruTv is on you will have to check with your cable provider.  Should be interesting.

This new TV show on TruTv has Jesse Ventura investigating conspiracy theories. I wonder how far he will be permitted to delve into the whole Plum Island issue? I hope to watch it, although I think it will make me sad to hear once again how our government is poisoning us.

Yes, that is my worry, too! I'll probably fall asleep or forget! I wrote it in my notebook, but sometimes I forget to check that, too. Or I forget where I put it!

I grew up in Boston, Plum Island was where I loved to go regularly with my childhood friend, and then friends during high school, to be by the sea. Don't remember ticks there..... (but these huge flies were certainly a menace--they bit and it hurt!)
Now I live in Minnesota, Jesse Ventura's home.
Both the East Coast and Minnesota are Lyme hot spots.
Certainly relevant for me to see this!!
I can't really say I like or dislike Jesse Ventura...he is a character, a sensation-seeker, but I haven't really seen him as someone who makes things up out of the blue.

I am quite sure I have had Lyme for 10 years (that is when symptoms arose), but it is clear I have had multiple chances of contracting Lyme since I was 10 years old. Scary thought.

I am on the phone with comcast to figure out what channel trutv is. I plan to watch it with husband--hopefully one of us will stay up to wake the other!

I was just wondering if many mainstream doctors (other than ILADS and those from IDSA) who deny Lyme Disease exists even know Plum Island exists, no less what has gone on there.

Hi.  Is the TrueTV for this show on the television or on the computer?  Today I could only watch the ILADS conference on my computer; the TrueTV station on my television set had court proceedings on it.

Does anyone know if it will be rebroadcast? Or anyone who watched it - how was it?

Bucci: you can call your cable provider about the channel, maybe they can tell you about the time, too, I don't know. I used my remote to check the time and it was a 10 PM, but comcast told me the channel--here was on channel 30. I leave in PA and it was at 10 PM.
