Friday night I was awake in bed because my husband had gotten up with the dog. I had my eyes shut but saw some big flashing lights that I thought might be lightning. I
opened my eyes and there was nothing. I then noticed that I felt like I was getting a huge electric shock - throughout my arms and legs. I will sometimes get this feeling down one or both arms, but not my whole body like this was. I tried to move but I couldn't. I tried to say my husband's name, but I couldn't make a sound even though I was trying very hard. After a little bit, I could make a noise, but it wasn't talking - my husband said it sounded like I was laughing in my sleep. Then all of the sudden, the shock feeling stopped and I said his name. I was shaken up, but otherwise ok. The next day I was totally fine, even had a pretty good day as far as what I was able to do and energy, etc.
I asked my chiropractor and he said it sounded like a seizure. I'm following up with my np today because we did change one oil that I take, but other than that - nothing new as far as meds or supplements.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this as a Lyme thing. My chiro said it was very likely a Lyme symptom because it's all my central nervous system.
