Finally Getting Treatment

Hi I finally started treating with a LLMD. I've been on a combination of three different antibiotics, How long after starting them does it take to expierence a hex..

Thanks again everyone for your help and making me see how badly I needed help.

It's different for everyone, and not everyone herxes, or herxes hard. Glad you are finally getting treatment.

Glad you found a Dr...I know how hard that can be. Usually herx's happen sometime in the first days to 2 weeks from what I have read. I herx'd 48 hours in and have been ever since in varying degrees(I am on week 6) But, as Raz said, everyone is different.

CONGRATS!!!! on starting treatment!!!

Please be sure to detox to get the toxins from the die off out of your body & don't forget the probiotics!!

Hi everyone, thanks for writing back. I'm learning so much. I'm taking the probiotics, but how do I detox to get them out. The dr didn't mention anything about that.

See the new to Lyme thread at the top - lots of good info there. At the very least do daily foot soaks of epsom salt and hydrogen peroxide.

The soaks not only feel good, but they really do make a difference!! Most likely you already have most of the things you will need in your home already.

Dee - Just curious. What abx are you on? Yes, congrats on the new treatment. It's always cause for celebration when we find a doctor that actually listens and understands!!!!
