Questions

I hope I'm not annoying anyone with my posts/questions. My Lyme brain isn't thinking clearly. Anyhow, negative ELISA test, doctor doesn't think I have Lyme but I do, started on Biaxin a few days ago for yet another ear infection. Since May 2010 I've had about 10 treated with abx and countless others I didn't go to the doctor for.

This morning I woke up feeling absolutely horrible, weak, sore, tired, achey, major pain in my ear that always gets infected (right side), tightness in my chest and a semi productive cough. Did the body brushing before my shower, didn't have time for a long bath. Did about a 15 minute foot soak though with just Epsom salt. Was supposed to go to a Super Bowl party but I stayed home.

Could this be a herx? I'm a little intrigued because of the ear pain. Could the Lyme have settled there and that's why it hurts? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to navigate this new world. I do have an appt. with an LLMD but not until the end of April, unless there is a cancellation. I'm trying to think positive that this is a herx and as crappy as I feel now, it's a good thing. Also I seem to be urinating more then usual? Are toxins eliminated that way too?

Any words of wisdom?

My DH (no Lyme, but lots of other issues) had ear infections constantly through his life. Until I started getting him to take 1000mg/day Vitamin C. Now he takes even more than this daily, in the form of Calcium Ascorbate (non-acidic). He has not had 1 ear infection in 11 years because of the Vitamin C.

It's so hard to tell if it is Lyme Disease or something else. Lyme Disease can mimic so many other diseases. Do you have your lab results and were they done by Igenex?

What did your Elisa test say? I'm sorry if you posted this already, but I don't remember.
