  For those of you with babesia, how many rounds of Mepron and Artemisinin did it take to wipe it out?I will be starting my 3rd round on Monday. Dr says it must be all gone before she can concentrate on the Lyme and bartonella. Thanks for your replies.....ClemsMom

I took mepron and Zithromax for 6 months but never retested for Babesia after that and the symptoms are so close to
lyme to be honest I couldnt tell a difference.

Can't quite remember exactly but I was on Malarone for more than six months and Mepron for almost that and took Artemesinin most of that time.

I think it depends on the individual on how long to treat. Most LLMD's treat until symptoms are gone. It is true that co-infections should be treated before treating Lyme Disease.

My dose has been upped from 1 tsp. bid to 1 1/2 tsp bid. I guess the level in my blood allowed for this. Still 3 weeks on ans one week off.
