I was supprised to open my paper and find this.  I didn't know they would do it.  Just figured it would be too bold to be of interest.  This article reaches four local cities here.

It's humbling to say the least, I've worked very hard in acquiring knowledge from research and others who suffer from Lyme.

Keep in mind, I've done my best.  I'm recently diagnosed and what I wrote was what I thought would be the strongest points within the alloted amount of words permitted.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!  I just got up the courage to write an editorial to my local newspaper because May is Lyme Awareness Month.  Don't know if they will publish but figure it can't hurt.  The more we try and make people aware, the better our chances of getting proper treatment and recognition for the disease nd its chronic stage.  I give you so much credit.  Thanks.

Thx. I've been busy either on phone or email with responses to this story. I was shocked to learn this am that it was my Mayor's office who pushed for this after my asking him for help in raising awareness. I thanked him from all the Lyme sufferers!

very inspiring, HH. Is that a recent photo? I thought you were in your 60's for some reason.
I have been thinking of writing an article for my local paper about sick houses and landlords being more responsible to the condition of their rentals between mold and formaldehyde.

Now that I read your article I feel it's my duty to do a lyme article here. I am even thinking of heaving them publish an article straight out of the townsend letter because I a bit scattered in the brain.

Yes, a picture from last year. I'm 52 and proud of it! LOL So I'm a little younger than 60ish--ha.

Thanks for asking... I'm not doing well. Been off abx for a bit because I needed a break and didn't feel as if I was getting anywhere anyway. But now I'm having more problems again...strange new rashes, more pain, etc. Wish I could wake up and this would all just be a distant bad dream and I'd be healthy and can get on with my life...sigh!

I hope all went well with your Brother...

I know, I really KNOW. I don't like it either.

Brother got three years and half way home for six months. Emotionally I am out of it! Our family is no longer estranged! We all pulled together from this. I consider that all things work together for the good, as scripture clearly states.

With us all going to an all black church Sunday, OMG, what a wonderful experience.

I woke up this morning, unmotivated, sad and not dwelling on my illness, I thought of my brother. His Freedom is now taken away and I may be in pain, but take away my dog, my little birds outside, friends, family and the little joys of life............................. this is all so heartbreaking!

Listen, you know that it's one day at a time. Please hang in there Raz! We're all right here for ya!

I sent letters just now to Ellen D, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz. I pleaded for their help and that all the Lyme sufferers would be grateful for help.

So sorry to hear about your brother! I know it is hard! My daughter got into some trouble a year and a half ago and only spent a few days in jail. She is doing deferred prosecution which means she has to be on probation for 2 years and if she gets into ANY legal trouble then she has to serve out the original sentence! She still has 5 months to go but I worry about her every day getting into trouble again and going away for a longer time. Its so painful!!!!!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that you are able to find a way to work through the pain without it destroying you. As you stated, your family is no longer estranged and all things happen for a reason.

Hang in there HH!! And if you ever need an ear or a shoulder, I am here!!!
