Has anyone heard of this? My LLMD said I could go get this done by a local practitioner if I wanted. It is based upon Chinese Medical theory that improper energy flow through acupuncture meridians cause energy imbalances in the body and can be measured as such. It is evidently being endoresed by a lot of competent MDs these days. Supposedly, it can help pinpoint where (which organs) are most affected by disease (including Lyme) and biotoxins and find vitamin/mineral imbalances. This one is a little far-out for me but, having spent a week at a yoga retreat and vetured into the chakra and energy things before, I cannot dismiss it entirely...thoughts?  I will try and find out how much it costs.

I'm not familiar with the term, but I am using acupuncture, Herbs, Homeopathic medicine and Traditional and Modern Chinese Medicine for healing...and it's the right ticket for me!!!

I know that this statement is true "improper energy flow through acupuncture meridians cause energy imbalances in the body and can be measured as such"...when done by an individual who has been properly trained, anyway. My Acu Doc does this frequently on me. It's called taking a pulse. Not your pulse like what we are all taught to check for when someone faints though. Some how it's different. When I first started seeing my Acu doc, she couldn't find a "kidney pulse". I really shocked her about a month ago when she found one! She had never had a patient have one suddenly!

It's been through the use of this procedure (and a few others) that she has been able to come up with my different herbal formulas that have absolutely unlocked my body!!!

Don't know how much help this is if any...but I tried!! smilewinkgrin LOL!!

Tahnks - that is indeed a help! I have a call and e-mail into this lady - she is a registered nurse and trained on the procedure...I will gauge how/if I work with her once I can get into contact...

Yazzer,

Some practitioners use it to determine what vitamins/supplements to give patients.  Others use it to find weak organs in the body and treat them with a sort of electric impulse.  I haven't had it done, but I know of a couple of people involved in it.

Yazzer:  My wife is being treated by a traditional chinese medicine doctor who uses bio-energetic testing along with accupuncture and TCM.  It seems to be legit.

That is what I am using as well!!It's been the only treatment I can tolerate. Using this form of medicine has given me back some quality to my life!

May you and your wife continue to walk that healing path!!
