Levoquin and Bartonella

 

Treating Lyme first time with Levoquin for Bartonella. Have only done one week 500mg.

Did not test positive on bld test but have had severe GI probs for a decade before diagnosis and it came up positive on saliva test.

Just want anyone's advice on how to deal with severe GERD, bartonella herx with Liver/GB pain, normal labs and no regular doc listening.

On prevacid and tums with every meal. On very restrictive diet.

Doing tea cammomile often.

Need help breathing and eating.

Have asthma as well and nebulizer at home.

Have to wait weeks to see LLMD and not feeling better digestively and starting to get pains on and off everywhere.

I have enzymes and have had no success with them but will try again.
As for probiotics, have been on them daily for 15 years, switching brands often and LLMD says that they pass right out the system with the meds but I still take them.

I still feel like my LLMD is noncommittal unless I'm able to get to his office readily which is far from home.

I feel like this will never get better for me...that it will be years of more torture...but that's prob just exhaustion talking. The past two years have been the worst and just started treating in the last few months.
