Ryken,
I agree with what's been said on this thread so far. Vaccines contain mercury, and mercury is extremely neurotoxic. Even the "mercury free" vaccines contain ethyl mercury. If you want to see how a neuron reacts to mercury, see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtFsy0rQsak from the Univ. of Calgary.
Also read books by Russell Blaylock, and do lots of research on vaccines. Also take note of this: numbers of cases of MS, and ALS spiked in 1976 when the high copper amalgam filling was introduced. In toxicology, mercury plus another metal increases the toxicity of that other metal astronomically. In the early 1990s, the hepa*** B vaccine was introduced. Children and all healthcare workers were required to get it. Again, ALS, MS, and Autism spiked.
I recently attended an Autism conference, and I came away with the impression that Autism is directly caused by neurotoxic damage that occurs while the brain is still in its critical stages of development. Common sources of this damage include mercury and pesticides (sprayed on farm fields). Some believe that children born with severe Lyme may also develop Autism (Lyme produces neurotoxins). The first cases of Autism all occurred in children whose parents had occupations where mercury was involved.
Ultimately, you will need to make this decision for yourself. I don't have children (I have students), but if I did, I would not feel comfortable vaccinating them.
