DOXY 200 MG/DAY - Is there a reason?

I think I already know the answer but is there a reason why many of us with unconfirmed cases were prescribed 200 mg/day doxy?

Is the goal to "stir things up" so that more bands will show up on future blood tests?

I notice I'm beginning to get a deep migraine at the vase of my head on day 4, but who knows why?

Hi don't.

Who prescribed you the 200mg of Doxy? That's a very low dosage. It may help stir things up a bit. I know when I first started Doxy I developed stretch mark like marks on my thighs which ended up being the Bartonella Rash. The marks went away with treating my Bartonella. I was on 400mg of Doxy when they first showed up. Your migraine may be a herx from the Doxy.

My llmd started me on th e doxy. I go back to her in 10 days. We are wainting now for more test resu;ts and I was just wondering why she didn't have me go straight to 400 mg/day?
