LLMD appt went fantastic!!

This was my first time meeting here to devise a treatment plan and go over everything. It was a loooooong appointment, over an hour and a half, but I am so glad she listened to me for that long and took notes on everything. We kind of deduced that my Lyme started sometime in the spring and I just haven't really been taking notes of things. heh.

Anyway, the treatment plan changed a little, new meds for me. No more Doxy, because the little is nursing still. That's bad nono I am now on an extensive course of Biaxcin and Palanquil. Yay me. I am also going back to be tested for co infections, thyroid, adrenals and something else. Annnnnd because of my migraine/BP issues I am now banned from consuming caffeine, sugar and flour. That should make life interesting smilewinkgrin

That's my update. If anyone is looking for a LLMD recommendation in MA message me, this LLMD is 10000% awesome!

Hey Britgirl,

So glad you are getting the care you need. It makes such a difference having a doctor you believe in.

Don't forget to detox as the new medications start to take hold! The dietary changes are hard at first, but the body adapts pretty quickly.

Hey Mojo, it may have been :) Was it you who referred me to the R. Center in Arlington? I love the NP I saw there.

On a side note, my pharmacy ran out of Biaxin last night and called me this morning to tell me I have a $50 copay when I go to pick it up. Plus I have ANOTHER migraine, so I have to drag my codeine induced hazy self to go and get it. Oh the price of heath I tell ya eyes
