Other abnormal Tests - Question

Can someone tell me what other tests are known to come back abnormal in someone who has Lymes disease?  I have had other tests come back slightly abnormal and my doctors can never figure out why.  Just wondering for those of you with a Lymes diagnosis ....... Are there other blood tests that come back abnormal because of Lymes?

I have a high sed rate. This seems to note inflamation. For many doctors it points towards rheumatoid arthritis.

The "normal" range says 0-23, and mine is 43. The doc said that it was "a little bit" high (see above post) but that I should see an RA specialist.

As Springsjean said, Lyme can cause most anything to be off. I have had "abnormal" results for my thyroid, white and red cell counts, platelets counts, iron levels, as well as many others. Like most here, I can't remember what else right now - even though it's on the tip of my brain - or what's left of it! Giggle!!

With treatment most things will return to what was "normal" for you, the only exception is where there has just been too much damage done by the bacteria (like arthritis or a few other things).

+1 for the epstein bar virus and also thyroid.

Another is Syphilis.. I moved and got a new PCP and he didn't believe that my symptoms could be lyme related and tested me for everything under the sun and syphilis came back positive. He then insisted I had Syphilis and not Lyme. (even though I have previous positive lyme tests). I then asked what is the treatment and he said 14 days of doxy. I proceeded to say then- so the 28 days of Doxy I did last summer and then the 28 days of Rochephrin just magically didn't kill this supposed Syphilis. And the fact that my partner of 2 years has no symptoms, neither did my previous 2 long term relationships(I have spent the past 7 years in 3 relationships.. I know who I have slept with-haven't been wild and crazy in my life-only 28 now)..

He went on to insist I have Syphilis, couldn't have Lyme b/c I went through treatment for it!! So I went along and did his treatment and guess what- symptoms still here and that test doesn't change.

Lyme is in the same family of bacteria as Syphilis and can cause a false positive on the test- our great modern medicine can't get that through their thick skulls.

Isac panel for thick blood. It is very specific test and not everyone knows how to do it right. Lab corp bought out Hemex labs so they do it but not everyone is familiar with how to do it right.

Thick blood was the cause of all my migrane killer stroke like headaches
and this weard inflamation in my neck that always happened with the migrane.

It especially happens if I take liver cleansing herbs or do things to detox or kill off infection.

I take hepirin shots every 24 hours when I can afford them.
I was told by my doctor that 30% of chronic lyme patients have this condition this severly. There are supplements to help with this also but for some the blood is just too thick.

this is the one thing other than a parasite treatment that I can say helped me tremendously to get out of the danger zone of stroke from thick blood and these debilitating chest pains on left side of chest and my stomach feeling like a bomb hit it everytime I ate from parasites.

I have also had, my neurotransmitters out of whack and vitamin d levels.

I took baby aspirin to thin blood (ask your dr). To answer your Q, at lowest my pulse ox was in upper 80's, have had heart rate any where between 50 and 190 bpm with bp around 90 over 50 (which dropped when rate went up). (I'm 39, average weight, and had been in good health). ALL of these have regulated after 3 mos. of abx treatment : )
