May need to stop abx, any luck on Salt/C? Or MMS?

I need help with my treatment. I have had Lyme 4 times. Yes, four separate times, because I'm stupid and keep going out places in my own yard where I know the ticks are abundant. I have beat Lyme two of those times. My first bout was long because it went undetected, my second time was quick, only a couple months of antibiotics because I found it early, I knew there was bites on my back and hip. My 3rd and 4th are melded together because I caught it two times over the last few months and wasn't yet done treating for the 3rd and got bit again and flare up of symptoms. Ugh. That was just over a month ago.

My first time with Lyme 5/6 years ago, I was 25 years old...I was on antibiotics for over a year and I could tell my Lyme was gone, just stayed on it past being well because I was pregnant. I finally stopped antibiotics when I became ill with a horrible case of Candida/Yeast. It was so horrible it was in my chest, I could barely breathe, and I had a fever from it. I took a few rounds of Diflucan and I did some natural herbs and cleansing, etc. And I recovered. This time, I've been on the antibiotics nonstop since December and I'm getting horrible yeast again.

It's in my throat and I can barely swallow. My LLMD put me on Diflucan and it did not get rid of the thrush in my throat. I went to see him and they prescribed the lozenge for thrush. The two together finally worked. I went on a trip and forget the Diflucan and my throat was back to being so horrible I could barely swallow. I let off the antibiotics for a couple days and my Lyme symptoms came creeping back, namely uterus pains (for some reason uterus pains are my trademark Lyme symptom, I have had C-sections and my LLMD says Lyme attacks scar tissue) and I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I have three kids and one is only a few months old and I have a million things to do and don't have time for this. Do I let Lyme kill me or yeast kill me? Hmmm. I do probiotics, yogurt, cat's claw, supplements, etc. I have no digestion left and have horrible reflux. I have been trying to eat raw and vegetables the last few days. Do I really think any of this is doing anything? I do believe I will get over the Lyme like I've done, but I need longer on the antibiotics, and I just do not think I CAN be on them any longer.

I did some research with the Vitamin C and salt and don't know what to believe. Can you guys help me? It was always you guys who helped me with everything way back since. How about MMS? Is MMS safe? I have a bottle in my cabinet but it's several years old, and I haven't really used it. I just can not live like this.

Lyme is so horrible where I live that I've considered moving. You just walk out in the yard and pick up deer ticks. I've had it four times...my neighbor has had it 7 times. So many people in our town have it...like everyone. I have three kids and don't want them to get it.

I would also agree that the Salt/C and the MMS would be something to stay away from. Although I'm not the FDA's biggest fan - mainly because of their desire to regulate the supplements too strongly - I do take head of their warnings when they say things like they have said about MMS -
"The product instructs consumers to mix the 28 percent sodium chlorite solution with an acid such as citrus juice. This mixture produces chlorine dioxide, a potent bleach used for stripping textiles and industrial water treatment. High oral doses of this bleach, such as those recommended in the labeling, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and symptoms of severe dehydration."

Salt/C thing, well I just don't believe that that much salt will do anybody any good. The high doses of C will most likely give you diarrhea, but does not pose any serious risks to healthy people from what I understand.

I would agree with Achievinggrace, you should look into the natural protocols. Can you find a Naturopathic Doc or a Homeopathic Doc? They would be best to guide you through this. That is unless you are willing to use a Chinese Medicine Doc. They could help you as well - that's the kind of Doc I am using and have made some pretty good progress.

As for your yeast issue - have you tried using Kefir in addition to your probiotics?
It has far more good bacteria in it than even some of the better ones found in the health food stores.

Don't give up hope!! There is plenty of help out there - all you need to do is find which direction you want to go.
